When Identity Comes

My nature is good,
you gave me that,
and I am eternally grateful.
There’s nothing I can do,
I’m there with you,
watching my old self dying.
Your blood runs.
Being what you were born to be
your tears whisper,
witness it was all for me.
A response to this
a choice made of love
so I could feel your floating kiss.
I collapse inside.
You think I’m worth it,
know I’m worth it,
believe I’m worth it.
Thus, I am yours,
I wander in you.
I could touch the stars if I wanted
but my desire is right here.
